How much is overtime pay in Thailand?
Weekday OT is at least 1.5× and holiday OT at least 3× the hourly wage under the Labour Protection Act, Sections 61 and 63.
What does a monthly employee get for working on a holiday?
At least 1× the hourly wage on top, because the holiday is already paid in the salary. Daily employees get at least 2× (Section 62).
How is the hourly wage of a monthly employee calculated?
Divide the salary by 30 for the daily wage, then by normal working hours per day — e.g. 15,000 ÷ 30 ÷ 8 = THB 62.50 per hour.
What is the maximum overtime?
Overtime plus holiday work must not exceed 36 hours per week under the ministerial regulation.
Can overtime be calculated automatically?
